Inspiring and educating about kai in Aotearoa
Our mission is to inspire and educate about kai in Aotearoa.
Kua whakaora ngā moemoeā o ngā wā o mua, kua tipua te mauri me ngā tikanga o ā tātou kai tūpuna.
The aspirations of our ancestors have been revitalised and their ways of kai are flourishing, helping people to live well for generations to come.
Our mahi is comprised of three interwoven practices:
We facilitate educational wānanga for a range of communities on kaupapa that connect to kai
We challenge ourselves to an annual wero kai (a period of eating only self-produced or traded food from the garden, forest, and ocean) so we can deepen the knowledge we have to share
We share content online for people to access learning in another way
